Preliminary Task 1- Camera practice

Today Sensational Studios did some practice shots as part of our preparation for our actual filming day of 'Tyrant.' This was essential as our film opening will mainly be comprised of motion shots, where the camera will have to be following our running characters. We played around with many different ways of doing this including:

• Hand held camera shots- for a more shaky effect
• Dolly shots- which follow the character while they're running.
• Camera shots inside a moving vehicle- for a more continuous shot where we follow the runners legs.

We are extremely glad that we set time aside to practice these shots as we have gained experience and have learned which shots work effectively in conveying the emotion we are trying to portray.
